first things first before picking up ur new bunny make sure that you have prepared their hutch with fresh straw and hey with a bowl of feed and fesh water. After picking ur new bunny up we would advise that for the first 24 hours to not handle ur bunny as they will need to settle in and get used to heir new inviroment feeding and watering is obviously fine, the bunny will be alot calmer and content the next day.
Food And Diet.

You will receive a weeks worth of changeover food when purchasing ur bunny,we do this so if u would like to change his/hers feed you can gradually ween them of without unsettling their digestive systems, as this could be very damaging to a young bunny.
We also strongly sugest that you dont introduce any treats until they are over 4 months of age as this could cause a condtion called "bloat" that could be very dangeruse, hence leaving them on there feed and a regular supply of fresh straw is a great way to keep ur bunny healthy and happy for the first few months of his/hers life..

Handling Ure New Bunny.

Bunnys as everyone knows are ground animals so when they are lifted they will kick and scamper as they feel insecure, BUT if u simply pick them up from under the front legs and bottom and turn them to you and place onto you're chest they will quickly calm down. If you continue this technique they will begin to trust you and enjoy their cuddles very much.. Please do note that although this is tried and tested no bunny is the same.
If you are buying one of our beloved bunnys for a child i would advise that the best way for child and bunny is for you to remove bunny from their hutch and place them onto ur childs lap as children will panik if the bunny does kickout, this way the child and bunny will feel calm and will then begin to bond.

Exercise And Bonding

Exercise is very important as this will allow your bunny to become aware of his/hers surroundings and diffrent sounds so they will become alot less insecure with you and others. this does not have to be for hours just half an hour to an hour per day so they can also have a change of scerery. you may also want to make sure that you interact with ur bunny on a daily basis so he/she will get used to ur scent and voice and this way he/she will eventually see you as a memeber of family instead of a threat.
Please note that the bunnys will get handled as much as possible, but we can not judge what ur rabbit will be like when they leave our care. If you make sure you do these few little things that will take moments out of ur day you should end up with a very happy and content bunny!

Socialising Ur Bunny.

If you decide to purchase ur new bunny a freind then please make sure u are well aware of the facts, as many people are under an illusion that their bunny is lonely and needs a companian, this is sometimes true but i beg to differ as mine are all housed seperatly and are very happy with this. Even so u may feel this is something u may consider in which case if u have a buck(male) do NEVER place another buck with them in the same hutch/run as this will end up resulting in the death of one or both of the bunnys.
Does on the other hand can be put together on SOME occasions eg litter sisters, this is a great idea as they would have grown up together so will be very tolerant of one another. You can pair a doe and a buck together but please do realise u are pairing a male and a female so unless you are wanting to breed ur bunnys you will need to get one or both of them neutered first.
